PhD Bursaries for the RGS-IBG Midterm Conference.

PYGYRG are delighted to announce that we are able to offer two bursaries to support doctoral students to attend the RGS-IBG Midterm Conference at RHUL.
Postgraduates and early career scholars working in the area of participatory geographies are invited to apply for a bursary, consisting of the registration fee (£60). Application for the awards are competitive, and cannot be made retrospectively.
Successful applicants are required to write a blog about the conference for the PYGYRG website, last year’s submission is available on the participatory geography website; http://www.pygyrg.co.uk/participatory-geographies-at-the-pgf-mid-term-conference/
They are also asked to promote the group during the midterm informally and pass on our information to other PhD students who may be interested – we have leaflets to help with this.
To apply please email the following information;
  • Your full name and institutional affiliation
  • Email address and twitter handle (if you have one)
  • A brief summary (no more than 200 words) on how the bursary would support you to attend?
  • Do you have funding, institutional or otherwise to do a PhD?
Please email this information to PYGYRG rep, Rosalie Warnock at r.e.warnock@qmul.ac.uk by the 26th February.
